| Experience: | 1990-1994: As a field researcher for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, John studied the nesting
success of endangered songbirds such as Black-capped Vireos and Golden Cheeked Warblers. 1990-1994: John managed his own business designing and presenting ecological seminars to local schools and clubs. 1994-2008: John worked for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department as an Urban Biologist in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area. During this time, John provided educational programs and technical assistance about wildlife habitat to city officials, parks departments, regional planners, local schools, homeowner associations, corporations, etc. 2008 – present: John is in charge of conservation outreach programs for the Wildlife Division of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. |
| Responsibilities: | John coordinates 5 programs all designed to connect people to positive wildlife experiences. These programs include: the Texas Master Naturalist Program, Texas Nature Trackers, the Urban Wildlife Program, Texas Wildlscapes, and the Wildlife Interpretive Program. |
